This book is a thrilling action packed read and I loved every page and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen. He wants to protect her at all costs but he is hiding a secret that could change everything. When Dillon first meets Fallon he knows she is different, and when they are trapped in the elevator this is the start of a terrifying and emotional journey for them both. Fallon has a connection to Dillon from the beginning and they have had similar challenging childhoods and they had to do what they had to to survive. And the drug addiction that has tortured her life because of her parents, parents that once loved there little girl until the drugs took hold and nothing mattered to them. This book is just as captivating and very suspenseful as the first.įallon is on the DEA task force and is determined to take down all he drug dealers that had ruined a lot of things in her life including her parents.
